With the end of the school year, she concluded a 33-year teaching career with plans to begin a new, yet undefined career. Ralph Edgar Godbey, 69, of Delphi, died Sunday, June 7, 2009, at 1 p.m. at his residence. He had been in ill health for the past year. Born Aug. 12, 1939, in Batttle Ground, he was the son of Alvin and Rose Belle Warren Godbey. He attended Battle Ground schools.
