Lynn F. Meyer, 70, of Monroeville, died at 8:21 p.m. May 23, 2009, at Parkview Hospital E.R., Fort Wayne.

Born May 23, 1939, he was the son of the late Ludwig Meyer and Rosella Maloy Meyer. He was a lifelong resident of Monroeville.

He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church.

Mr. Meyer was the dealer principal of Meyer Auto Sales, Monroeville, where he had been employed for 54 years.

Surviving are his wife, Janet Meyer; sons, Ludwig Meyer and Chadwick Meyer (wife: Jeni), both of Monroeville, and Erick Meyer (wife: Katherine) of Anderson; daughters, Jenell Harkenrider (husband: Ron) of Fort Wayne, Jeanine Oberley (fiancé: Dan Distelrath) of New Haven, and Jeanett Hoffman (husband: Todd) of Monroeville; brothers, Dr. Bruce Meyer (wife: Barbara) of Flora, Max Meyer (wife: Fay), Louie Meyer (wife: Pat), and Philip Meyer (wife: Ava), all of Monroeville; and 10 grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial was May 27 in Monroeville. Burial was in St. Rose Catholic Cemetery with military graveside rites.
