Marion Huffer was in a tractor off State Road 22, east of Burlington, on May 26 when he hit a soft spot and sunk about six feet. An excavator was used to dig the mud away, and then it took a semi-wrecker with a 400 HP tractor on the front to get it out. The excavator filled the hole up, and planting continued.
