The Camden Youth Day Parade will be Saturday, starting at 10 a.m. This year's theme is "Baseball/Softball - America's Favorite Pastime." Ball games and more will follow at the park.
The "Be Creative @ Your Library" Summer Reading Program at the Camden-Jackson Township Public Library will begin today, June 3, and continue through July 15. The first program for children in kindergarten through fifth grade will be "Drama - Puppets," and will begin at 1:30 p.m. today at the library. There will be Creative Bingo for grades six through eight. Deb Foreman will be lessons leader.
Camden Community Bible School will be held June 8-12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church. Children ages four and older and adults are invited to attend. For more information, contact Jill Moudy at (574) 686-2277.
Camden Woman's Literary Club will meet Tuesday for a tour of the Cole Museum in Logansport. They will also have dessert and tea. Jean Cole will give the program, "A Hat Story." Hostesses will be Judy Berkshire, Janet Barnaby and Peggy Lach- Stone.
Camden-Jackson Township Public Library Board will meet at 7 p.m. June 10 in the Reading Room.
A foot care clinic will be held at 12:30 p.m. June 11 in the Senior Citizen's Lounge.
Camden Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. June 11 in the Reading Room.
United Methodist Women will meet at 7 p.m. June 11 in the home of Mary Trapp. Diane Hinkle will be lesson leader. Members are asked to bring items for the mission project. Roll call response will be to tell something about disciples Bartholomew or James.
