Park Board will meet at 7 p.m. June 3 in the Community Park Building.

Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the town hall.

Kiwanis Club will meet at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at the fire station for breakfast and meeting. The club will be serving lunch at an auction in Lafayette as a fundraiser on Saturday.

Kelly Ann Carter, daughter of Jeff and Kathy Stout Carter, has graduated from Western High School. She will follow in her sister Cassie's footsteps and attend Ashland College in the fall.

Cassie Carter will be leaving June 8 for a college mission trip to South Africa where she and eight other students will work with the Zulu tribe. She will return July 13.

The Church of Christ will have a seniors dinner and fellowship from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the church.

A Father-Son Dinner will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Church of Christ.

Crossroads Community Christian Church and Faith Church of Christ are planning a joint mission trip to Shiloh Children's Ranch June 14-18.

Faith Church of Christ golf outing to Wildcat Creek Golf Course will be Saturday at 2 p.m.

Vacation Bible School will be held at Faith Church of Christ June 15-18.

Women's Missionary Society will meet Thursday at the home of Carol Brewster.

The Rev. Tim Garner will be guest speaker during Sunday worship at the First Brethren Church.

Oakland Christian Church men's breakfast will be held Saturday at 7 a.m. at Eiler's.

A WMP work day for Oakland Christian Church will be held at 6:30 a.m. June 10.
