Mrs. Dan Gottschalk of 5 6 1 8 N . US421, Delphi, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their children on Sunday. The event will be from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Idaville Church of God, 11073E. 50N. in Idaville.

Gottschalk and the former Cindy Scroggs were married June 1, 1969, at the Idaville United Methodist Church. He is the pastor at the Camden United Methodist Church and an academic advisor at Purd u e University. She is a homemaker and former secretary.

The couple have three children, Sarah Dehu (husband: Myke) of Glendale, Ariz., Leah Jaggers (husband: Malachi) of Delphi, and Stephen Gottschalk (wife: Regina) of Rossville, and two grandchildren.

The community is invited to attend the open house.
