Associate Chapter of Tri Kappa

The Associate Chapter of Tri Kappa met recently for lunch and a meeting at the Loeb House Inn in Lafayette.

New officers are Pat Duff and Mary Helen Abbott, copresidents; Marjorie Clifford, vice president; Mary Wesner, secretary; and Mary Brown, treasurer. They were elected for a two-year term and installed by Earlene Alvarez.

By-laws were presented by Abbott.

It was announced that Tri Kappa has supported the Riley Children's Center since 1901.

Members voted to provide transportation and gas money for an eight-year-old cancer patient to and from treatment.

The group will reconvene in September at the home of Faye Underhill.
