The Oracles were led defensively by senior catcher Kayser, who made three diving catches behind the plate to grab Lady Blackhawk foul balls and threw out one of the few Blackhawk base runners as she attempted to steal third base. Luckily, Kayser was playing great defense as the rest of the infield committed one error each.
Most nights the Lady Oracles play close to error free defense so a dominating performance on the mound helped them get through the game. Freshman Caitlin Schock allowed only two hits and threw 8 strikeouts to collect her fourth win of the season.
