Larry E. Farner, 62, of Delphi was convicted of criminal confinement. He was sentenced to three years in the DOC, two years suspended and two years of supervised probation. He was further ordered to have no contact with the victim, waiver of fourth amendment rights against search and seizure and participation in a drug and alcohol program plus court costs.
Frederick R. Gavitt, 29, was convicted of domestic battery. He was sentenced to one and one-half years in the DOC, one year suspended and one year of supervised probation. The rest of his sentence is to be served on in-home detention. He was further ordered to pay restitution in the sum of $268 to the First Brethren Church of Burlington.
Eder Rodriguez, 20, Logansport, was convicted of no valid license. He pled guilty and received a $25 fine plus court costs.
Evelyn M. Czernik, 39, Delphi, was convicted of having no valid license. She pled guilty and received a $10 fine plus court costs.
Edward Garza, 25, Lucerne, was convicted of operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail, suspended, and one year of unsupervised probation.
Jerica A. Martin, 19, Delphi, was convicted of driving while suspended and failure to use safety belt and was sentenced to one year in jail, suspended, and one year of supervised probation.
