Doris E. Overman, 75, of Delphi, died May 8, 2009, in her daughter's home.

Born Dec. 30, 1933, in Lafayette, she was the daughter of the late Bazzle and Nellie Crawford Minniear. Her marriage was in 1954 to Ralph E. Overman, who preceded her in death in 1996.

Mrs. Overman was a nurses aid at the former Delphi Nursing Home and Indiana Verteran's Home.

Surviving are a daughter, Patty Robinette of Delphi; two sons, Terry Overman of Delphi and Michael Overman of Camden; three sisters, Ruby Leach of Gary, Grace Gregory of Lafayette and Olive Littner of Kentucky; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services and burial were held May 11 in Brookston.
