Leadership camp open to middle school students
Carroll County Sheriff Tony Burns is announcing the Indiana Sheriff's Youth Leadership Camps for middle school students. For students in the northern part of the state, camp will be June 15- 17 at Ross Camp in West Lafayette, and for the southern part of the state, July 6-8 at Waycross Episcopal Camp.
The camp is sponsored by the Indiana Sheriff's Association for students who are currently in the seventh or eighth grade and interested in learning more about a possible career in law enforcement. The experience provides a meaningful experience and relationship with other campers from throughout the state and sheriff officers who serve as counselors and instructors.
