A special celebration was held recently at Faith Lutheran Church for graduate, Tyler Yeakley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Yeakley. Following worship, cake and punch were served in the fellowship hall.

The women of Faith Lutheran Church will hang their Unity Quilt in the church during worship Sunday. Each family of the church was furnished with a quilt block that they finished to represent their family.

A Mother/Daughter Banquet will be held at Faith Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Logansport Children's choir will be performing.

Deer Creek Presbyterian Church will meet June 1 at 7 p.m. in the church library. Books to read are "Same Kind of Different as Me" by Ron Hall and Denver Moore and "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch. All interested persons are welcome to attend.
