Photo provided Carroll County Extension Homemakers celebrated achievements of outstanding clubs and individuals at their annual Friends Day/ Achievement Awards on April 30. The theme for the day was "How to Be a Shining Star."

Six new members were recognized with an IEHA pin. New members are: Kay Everett, Rachel Harker, Sara McManus, Joyce Orem, Laurie Weaver and Kris Yoder.

Each club chose a member to receive its Volunteer Angel Award. Pam Munsterman from the Adams Township club was the overall Volunteer Angel. She was given a Willow Tree angel.
