Ladies record #12 shutout
      Delphi's Lady Oracle softball team had a busy week with six games, including four shutouts for 12 on the season. Vs. Rossville Delphi over powered the Lady Hornets, winning this game 11-0 in five innings, played at Rossville. Brittney Atwood was on the mound and collected her ninth win of the season in this one hit shut out. Atwood also had 9 strikeouts.

Oracles pick up two road wins
      Delphi baseball team was on the road all week, winning its first two over Hoosier Conference foe Sheridan, 13-2 in five innings, and over Tri- County 7-1, before dropping three-in-a-row.

Carroll Co. Swim Club
      Carroll County Summer Swim Club will have a callout and parent meeting on Sunday at 6 p.m. in the Carroll High School cafeteria. All youth ages 5-18 are eligible to participate. DCHS athlete to attend Fort Wayne college
      Delphi Community High School senior football lineman Travis Yoakum will continue his career at the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne. During the 2008 season, he was credited with 26 tackles and three fumble recoveries for the Oracles.

Wallace sets DCHS record
      Delphi track and field teams recently competed in the Carroll/White County Championships and hosted Indiana's oldest track meet, the 94th Annual RMD. The boys finished third in each and the girls finished fourth at Bi-County and third at the RMD.
