Lynde Two Delphi wrestlers placed in the Indiana State Wrestling Freestyle State tournament held last weekend in Indianapolis.

Tanner Lynde, a freshman, won a state title in the 160-pound class Cadet Division. Braden Atwood, a junior, placed second in the 189-pound junior division. With their state finishes, both Lynde and Atwood, members of the Boiler Elite wrestling club, have qualified for the National Freestyle tournament in Fargo, N.D., in July. In late June the pair will also compete in the Disney Duals in Orlando.

To earn money for their trips, they will be working as waiters at Pizza Hut on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m.
