Robert and Claudia Wandless of Delphi announce the engagement of their daughter, Karli Elizabeth Lyn, to Benjamin Patterson Mears. He is the son of John and Mary Mears of Delphi.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Providence Catholic High School in New Lenox, Ill. She graduated from Purdue University in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in financial counseling and planning. She is employed by Salin Bank & Trust Co. and Dance Magic.

Her fiancé was homeschooled and graduated in 2005. He is employed by Co- Alliance, Bringhurst, as a fertilizer applicator.

They are planning a June 27 wedding.
