Mr. and Mrs. Don Reef of Cutler will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house on Saturday, May 2. The event will be held at the Burlington Community Building from 3 to 6 p.m.

Reef and the former Mary Rose Ryan were married at the Ball Hill Methodist Church by Dr. Phillip Klinger on May 8, 1959.

He is retired from Chrysler after 40 years of service and still farms in Carroll County. She is a homemaker.

They have three children, Donna Wiley (husband: Rob) of Marion, Martin Reef (wife: Jan) of Cutler, and Melinda Girard (husband: Gerry) of Farmington Hills, Mich. The couple has three grandchildren.
