If the only way to have increased ambulance service and law enforcement is to raise the tax rate, are you in favor of paying more taxes?

48% Yes 52% No Total responses: 143 Reader's comments:

I would be more than willing to pay more in taxes to get the service we deserve provided that we have been given proof that our county is dispersing funds in appropriate areas and there is no other option. Two ambulances is not enough to cover our county, especially since EVERY transport requires leaving the county. However, I feel that budget cuts were taken from two very important areas: ambulance service and police. There is nothing more important than the welfare of humans. We need to make our county government accountable for this mess we are in.

As citizens of Jefferson Township our feeling is that we have never had the services from Carroll County that the rest of the townships have had. We feel as though we are only needed for our tax revenue. We pay our school and library tax to White County so maybe it would be possible to become a part of White County.
