Mr. and Mrs. Tom McKinley of Kokomo will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a '50s-themed open house for family and friends on June 21 at Summer Place, Sharpsville.

McKinley and the former Pat McGinnis were married March 15, 1959, at Flora Church of the Brethren by the Rev. Charles Dumond.

He retired from the composing department of the Kokomo Tribune after 40 years of service, and she is employed at Howard Regional Health System.

They have four children, Teresa Smith, Fort Wayne; Tammy Boal, Harleysville, Pa.; Tim McKinley, Kokomo; and Lynna Walta, Mason, Mich. The couple has eight grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
