David Lee Sanders, 43, of Logansport, died Thursday, April 16, 2009, at his residence in Clinton Township, Cass County.

Born March 26, 1966, in Carroll County, he was the grandson of Charles Weils. His marriage was on Aug. 16, 2003, at his home on the Wabash River, to Brenda Sue Hewitt, who survives.

Mr. Sanders attended Delphi High School and diesel school in Indianapolis.

He was a member of the Lucerne Christian Church.

He gave 19 years of peerless loyalty as the herdsman for John T., Martha, Courtney and Diana Justice.

Services were held Saturday at the Marocco Funeral Chapel in Logansport. Pastor Dirk Raderstorf officiated. Burial followed at the Cederville Cemetery in Burnettsville.
