Robert Alfred Luper, 84, Lebanon, died April 17, 2009, at Hickory Creek in Lebanon.

3, 1924, in

Tippecanoe County, he was the son of the late Albert Ray and Inez Grace Fisher Luper. His marriage was on Dec. 24, 1944 in Thorntown, to Vinnie M. List, who survives.

Mr. Luper was self-employed and did (grain and fertilizer) contract work for Peetz Feed in Frankfort. He also was employed by Stewart-Warner Corporation and Vandivier Livestock, both of Lebanon.

He was a member of the Lebanon Christian Church.

Also surviving are three sons, Robert Luper (wife: Connie) and Stephen Luper (wife: Tish), both of Lebanon, and Larry Luper (wife: Dottie) of Fort Myers, Fla.; a brother, Dale Luper (wife: Sharon) of Lebanon; a foster daughter, Vicki Leath of Lebanon; nine grandchildren; two foster grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; and one foster great-grandchild.

Services and burial were held Tuesday in Lebanon.
