The Lafayette Sailing Club is offering sailing school for new and old sailors on May 4 from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. at the Tippecanoe Library in downtown Lafayette.

The classroom session will be held in meeting room A or B. Those attending should park at the west end of the building.

An on the water session will be held at 10 a.m. May 9 at the club's harbor on Lake Freeman just north of Pearson's Marina (see map at www.lafayettesailingclub.net ). The DNR boating exam will be given at 9:30 a.m.
