FIRED UP TO QUIT: HELPING PATIENTS BEAT TABACCO ADDICTION will be presented at 7:30 a.m. on April 22 at the Kathryn Weil Center for Education in Lafayette by Indiana State Health Commissioner Judith A. Monroe, M.D., FAAFP. Dr. Monroe's program is for health care providers including physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, nurses, pharmacists, dentists and medical/ nursing/pharmacy students. The program is free, but registration is required and can be made by calling the center at (765) 449-5133.
The St. Elizabeth Diabetes Center will present IT'S NEVER TOO EARLY TO PREVENT DIABETES at 6:30 p.m. on April 21. This program is for young and growing families, as well as mothers who had gestational diabetes or those with a family history. The program will be at the Kathryn Weil Center for Education, Lafayette. The program is free, but registration is required and can be made by calling (765) 449-5180.
