Living Faith Church of the Brethren will be showing the movie, A SONG IS BORN, on April 16 at 9 a.m.. Free popcorn and drinks will be available. This is a free event and is open to the public.
The Carroll County Area Plan Commission will hold a
PUBLIC HEARING for the proposed Hoosier Heartland Highway Overlay District on April 28 at 7 p.m. in the Commissioner's Room of the county courthouse in Delphi. Copies of the document are available online at www.carrollcountyzoning. wordpress.com or in the Area Plan Commission office.
A NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH MEETING will be held at 7 p.m. April 16 in the Community Building at the park. All interested persons from Burlington and the surrounding areas are encouraged to attend.
The public is invited to attend the WABASH & ERIE CANAL ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING on April 21 at the Canal Center, Delphi. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7. Officers will give updates on the construction of the replica canal boat, as well as other projects along the trails. The speaker will be Amos Schwartz of Berne. He directs a crew of Amish craftsmen who have rehabilitated log cabins, covered bridges and barns, as well as buildings at several state parks.

CLEAN-UP AND CAMP SITE CONSTRUCTION WORK DAY, sponsored by the Friends of the Carroll County Parks, will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at French Post Park near Lockport. Volunteers are needed. Contact Bob Burton at (574) 686-2958 to help.
THE WHITELANDAIRES will be in concert April 18 at 7 p.m. at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church, located on CR200N, one and one-half mile east of Delphi Community High School. The concert is free and open to the public.
A FOOD DRIVE for the Delphi Food Pantry, sponsored by the Delphi Girl Scouts, will be held April 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Scouts will be available at Wallmann's and Save-A-Lot to receive donations. For information, contact Alisa Jacobs at (765) 564-2092.
CARROLL COUNTY FLOWER AND GARDEN FAIR, sponsored by the Carroll County Garden Club, will be held April 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Merchants' Building at Flora Community Park. Vegetable, herb, flower plants, garden art, clothing, birdhouses, lawn furniture and other gardenrelated items will be featured. Master Gardeners will be available to provide information. Club members will host a children's planting booth. Admission is free.
HAZARDOUS TREE REMOVAL from city right-ofways in residential areas will be conducted by the Delphi Street Department. The trees will be marked near the bases with orange dots. Contact the street department at (765) 564-2353 with questions.

A CHILDREN'S BOOK SIGNING will be held at Security Federal Savings Bank, Delphi, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on April 25. "Three Cups," a book that teaches children the value of saving their money for charity, spending and saving, was written by Mark St. Germain and illustrated by April Willy, wife of former Delphi resident Scott Willy. Children who attend may get their book signed by Mrs. Willy, enjoy story hour, and refreshments.
