In celebration of its 60th year in business, the Lakeshore Drive In Theatre in Monticello will offer free movies this Friday and Saturday.

"We want to celebrate by saying thank you to all our loyal customers and reacquaint some customers who, perhaps, have not been to the drive in theatre in a while," said theatre management.

Lakeshore Drive In has been in operation every year since 1948.

"In this time of economic trouble, we want to do our part by offering a weekend of free movies to the people who have kept us in business for 60 years," management concluded.
