Oracles continue hot start
      After the first full week of the young season, the Delphi baseball team continues to turn some heads and earn some respect after improving its record to 4-1 with a 13-3 win over Rossville and a doubleheader sweep of Fountain Central, 7-4 and 6-1.

Lady Oracle Softball off to 4-0 start
      The Delphi Lady Oracle softball team got off to a quick start with plans to repeat their Sectional championship and more. This year's team will be led by seniors Brittney Atwood, Leslie Kayser, Morgan Lavy and Aspen Wallace and a solid crew of underclassmen.

Delphi runs past Western Boone
      The Delphi Community High School boys' and girls' track and field teams opened the year last Wednesday by hosting Western Boone. Both teams came out victorious with the boys winning 82-50 and the girls coming out on top 71-61.

Purdue Grand Prix to race on a new track
      "The Greatest Spectacle in College Racing," the 52nd Purdue Grand Prix, will be held on April 25. The race will be the first on the new track located at the Northwest Athletic Complex at Purdue University. Community Day, a free event open to the public, will be April 19 from noon to 3:30 p.m.
