In mid-March, two Carroll County students earned distinctive honors at the National Postsecondary Agricultural Students Organization (PAS) Conference. Nathan Trapp of Flora and Mark Minnicus of Delphi were two of 17 Muscatine College Agribusiness and Technology students who attended the conference in Hershey, Pa. More ... ANDREW RIDER of Delphi has been awarded a $384.50 grant from the North Central Region Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (NCRSARE) for the project, "The Efficiency of Jerusalem Artichokes (Sunchokes) as a part of a diversified pasture plan for my free range feed pigs."
