Comet staff report

Easter Sunday, April 12, at 8:45 a.m., just prior to Sunday School, there will be a time of prayer outside on the site of the new addition at Hickory Grove Church. The site is ready for construction to begin. Prayers will be offered asking for God's blessings on the addition, blessings and safety for the builders, provision for the finances, and for the use of space it will provide for serving the people of the church and the community.

On April 19, missionary Davis "Zach" Zachary will bring the morning message at 10. Zachary and his two daughters operate a clinic and a rescue center for children in Cazale, Haiti. Three hundred fifty people are seen at the clinic three days a week, while the rescue center houses and cares for about 70 children that otherwise would die if they did not take them in. People from the local church are preparing to take their third trip to Cazale next January. The community is invited to be a part of the service. A carry-in dinner will follow.

Hickory Grove Church is located five miles south of Idaville and seven miles north of Delphi on Carroll County Road 700W.
