Malinda Kendall
Malinda Kendall, 71, of Camden died at 8:45 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2009, at Heritage Healthcare Center in West Lafayette.
Born May 20, 1937, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Morris and Helen Tilson Hardin. Her marriage was on June 30, 1957, in Franklin to Richard J. Kendall, who survives.
Mrs. Kendall was a 1955 graduate of Phoenix High School and attended Franklin College.
She taught kindergarten at the Camden and Carrollton schools.
Mrs. Kendall was a member of Camden First Baptist Church, where she played the piano and organ for many years.
She was also a member of the Camden Woman's Literary Club, Order of Eastern Star #475 at Camden, Dorcas Missionary Society, and Aim High Extension Homemakers Club.
Also surviving are two sons, Robert Kendall (wife: Kathy) of Delphi and Richard Kendall (wife: Courtney) of Monticello; two daughters, Pam Cree (husband: Ron) of Camden and Holly Muller (husband: Kerry) of Monticello; a sister, Patty Quebe of Springfield, Ill.; five grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
Preceding her in death was a sister, Joan Bridges.
Services were held Monday at Camden First Baptist Church. Pastor Paul Marcellino officiated. Burial will follow at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Camden First Baptist Church or to the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana.
Cree Funeral Home in Camden was in charge of arrangements.
