LEANNA K. SMITH of Logansport has been named to the Dean's Honor List at Ball State University for the 2008 fall semester. The honor signifies "outstanding academic achievement."

A 2006 graduate of Carroll High School, she is a junior at BSU, majoring in secondary math education.
