Community Good Friday Service will be held at 7 p.m. at Faith Church of Christ. The Rev. Dr. Peter Roussakis will bring the message. Communion will be served after the service.

An Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 3 to sixth grade will be held Saturday at Burlington Community Park. The event, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club, will begin promptly at 1 p.m.

The Volunteer Fire Department will serve its annual "all you can eat" pancake and sausage breakfast on Saturday. Serving will be from 6 a.m. to 12 noon at the fire station.

Classy Classics E.H. Club will meet Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Pat Rodgers. Kathy Northcutt will be co-hostess and Debbie Smith will give the lesson.

Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the town hall.

A Neighborhood Watch meeting will be held April 16 at 7 p.m. in the Community Building. All Burlington and surrounding area residents are invited to attend.

Maundy Thursday services will be held at 7 p.m. at the following churches: Church of Christ, Crossroads Community Christian Church, and First Brethren Church.

Sunrise Service with breakfast afterwards will be held a 6:30 a.m. at the Church of Christ.

A silent auction will be held at the chili cookoff set for April 18 at the United Methodist Church. Money raised will go for the mission trip.

Crossroads Community Christian Church will hold a Good Friday Service at 7 p.m. Easter Sunday Service will begin at 9:30 a.m.

The First Brethren Church will host a community hymn sing at 6 p.m. April 19.

Oakland Christian Church will have Good Friday Service at 7 p.m. Easter Sunday Services will begin at 8 a.m. with the early service and 10 a.m. for the regular worship service. Breakfast will be served between services at 9 a.m.
