Services for Greg L. Marcum, 47, of Bringhurst, were held Saturday at the Bringhurst United Methodist Church. Pastor Rex Charles officiated and burial followed at Geetingsville Cemetery.

He passed away Tuesday evening, March 24, 2009, at his residence.

Born March 8, 1962, in Frankfort, he was the son of J.C. and Jeanette Rohr Marcum. He graduated from Carroll High School in 1980.

Greg worked at Quality Die Set in Flora.

He was an avid gun collector and enjoyed target shooting. He was also a history enthusiast and enjoyed anything mechanical.

Surviving are his parents in Bringhurst; two brothers, Craig Marcum (wife: Carol) of Geetingsville and Scott Marcum (wife: Beth) of Dayton; and his beloved dog, Sparky.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Carroll County Cancer Society.
