NICHES Land Trust will meet tonight, April 1, at 7 p.m. at the Tippecanoe County Public Library, 627 South Street in Lafayette, Meeting Room B, for a photographic tour of the land and animals that NICHES protects on its preserves. Board member Dave Krohne's photos will be shown. Light drinks and snacks will be available. No RSVP is required.
NATIONAL ARCHERY IN THE SCHOOLS PROGRAM state tournament will be April 3 at the Horizon Convention Center in Muncie. Doors open at 7 a.m. and flight times will be 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Competition is only open to schools that received archery training from the DNR. For information contact Tim Beck at (812) 482-3093.
INDIANA ARCHAEOLOGICAL SOCIETY will sponsor an exhibit of pre-historic and historic artifacts April 4 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Miami County Fair Grounds near Peru. 2009 SENIOR GAMES sponsored by the Area IV Agency will be June 8-12 at Tecumseh Middle School on S. 18th St. in Lafayette. The event is open to individuals age 55 and over from Carroll, Benton, Clinton, Fountain, Montgomery, Tippecanoe, Warren and White counties.
