Fire damages home on Bend

A home at 11957 Tecumseh Bend suffered extensive damage in a Tuesday morning fire. According to Delphi Tri- Township Volunteer Firefighter Darrell Sterrett, the fire damage occurred predominantly in the middle of the home. Flames traveled up the back wall to a cathedral ceiling and then to the second floor. He said there was minor damage to both ends of the home.
According to reports, the fire was contained within 15 minutes and the cause of the fire was undetermined at press time. Sterrett said no hot spots remained in the structure and fire did not enter concealed areas of the home.
It was reported that there was one occupant in the home when the fire broke out. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
