She's a winner

Erin Scott raised the most donations, $160, in the Jump Rope for Heart event at Camden Early Childhood Center. All kindergarten students raised a total of $1,246. The money will benefit the American Heart Association. Some of the students brought in paper hearts with the names of relatives who have been affected by heart disease. They jumped in their honor. Erin earned many prizes, and her name will be entered into a drawing for a trip to Walt Disney World. School nurse Stephanie Stone coordinated the event at Camden. Comet photo by Jennifer Archibald
