Delphi City Clerk-Treasurer Janice Roe has confirmed preliminary plans to retire from her position in the city building at the end of November. Roe refused to go on record to provide details about those plans.

Roe was appointed to the position in 2004 and was elected to serve a four-year term in November 2007.

An attempt for a statement from new Democratic Chair Denise Strasser was unsuccessful by press time.
