Private applicator license

Farmers are being reminded to check their private applicator license to see if they need to take classes. To check, go to the Office of Indiana State Chemist (OISC) web site at http://www.isco.purdue.edu/i ndex.html and look under "Pesticide" and then "Farmer" to find out what classes have been taken and how many are needed before an individual's license expires. It will be necessary to enter a social security number or license number to access the information.

To find out where and what classes are being offered, check out the following web site at Purdue http://btny2.agiculture. purdue.edu/parpeven ts/title.html or the CCAA website at http://www.carrollcountyag. com/. Some area trainings include; Howard County on March 4, Miami County on March 16, Fulton County on March 18, and Clinton County on March 19. Details on these trainings can be found at the above web sites.
