Maxine Snider will be honored for her 90th birthday on March 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Senior Citizens Lounge. No gifts please, but cards are welcome.
Camden Public Library reminds patrons about its Winter Into Spring Reading Club. It is not too late to join. Everyone should read two books a month from now through April 25.
Camden Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Reading Room at the library.
Camden Woman's Literary Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Reading Room at the library. The program on growing flowers this spring and summer will be presented by Teresa Daly of T's Flowers & Things, Pittsburg. Roll call response will be a favorite spring flower. Hostesses will be Nancy Biederwolf and Karen Hylton. Members are reminded to pick up "100 Ways You Can Contribute to a Healthier Planet" at the library for reading and discussion at the April meeting.
Aim Hi E. H. Club will meet at 7 p.m. March 19 in the Reading Room at the library.
MaryAnne Berkshire and
/ Donna Swayze will present the lesson on gardening. Devotions will be given by Carolyn Edging. Those attending are asked to bring an Easter card for an exchange. Mary Whitfield and Pam Minier will be hostesses.
Camden Lions Club met last Wednesday night with 12 members attending. Guest speaker was Aimee Kindred form the Indiana Department of Transportation, who spoke on the Hoosier Heartland Highway.
