IVY TECH is accepting nominations for its annual Distinguished Alumni award. The chosen alumni will be honored at the college's commencement ceremony May 10 at 2 p.m. in Elliott Hall of Music in West Lafayette. IVY TECH COMMUNITY COLLEGE in Lafayette, Monticello and Crawfordsville will be closed from March 16 to March 21 for spring break. All classes will resume March 23.

The MEXICAN CONSULATE will bring a mobile Consulate to Ivy Tech's Lafayette campus March 28 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Consulate services will be available in the Lilly rooms at Ivy Hall. WEDDING SINGER AUDITIONS sponsored by the TippeCanoe Players will be April 19 and 26 or May 3 at Harrison High School in West Lafayette. Actors must prepare a one to two-minute memorized monologue and singers must perform a song from "The Wedding Singer."
