Presbyterians from throughout Carroll County and northern Clinton County are joining together for a combined Easter Cantata on Palm Sunday, April 5, at 3 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Delphi (213 S. Indiana Street).

"The Cantata is open to the public and everyone is invited to join us in this celebration of the joy of Easter," said the church's pastor, Rev. Bill McLean.

Following the Cantata there will be a dessert carry-in and fellowship time in the Fellowship Hall of First Presbyterian.

"Each week during Lent there will be a choir practice for the Cantata and a Lenten Bible study. These are open to everyone, and we hope you can join us for one or both of these exciting events," Rev. McClean said.

The weekly choir practice will be at 1:30 p.m. and the Bible study at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoons. The first event was March 1 at the Burrows Presbyterian Church. Other dates and locations are listed below.

March 8 - Cutler Presbyterian.

March 15 - Geetingsville Presbyterian.

March 22 - Deer Creek Presbyterian.

March 29 - First Presbyterian Church, Delphi.

These joint programs are coordinated by the Presbyterian Cooperative Area Ministry Group, which consists of the above-named churches, along with Flora Presbyterian Church and Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church.
