John Kenneth Wright, Jr., 50, of Delphi, died Feb. 13, 2009, at Clarian Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.

Born Feb. 2, 1959, in Elizabethtown, Ky., he was the son of the late John "Jack" Kenneth Wright, Sr. and Mary Jane Swarner Wright Robertson. His marriage was on Dec. 18, 1996, in Delphi, to Lou Ann Wilson, who survives.

Mr. Wright was employed at Alcoa in Lafayette as a quality control inspector since 1985.

He attended the Riverview United Methodist Church in Independence.

Also surviving are his mother, Mary Jane Robertson (husband: Chuck) of Williamsport; a daughter, Meriah Shane Wright of Attica; three sons, Kevin C. Wright (companion: Stephanie), Christopher B. Clark-Wright (companion: Amber), and Gatlin W. Wright, all of Delphi; a sister, Rebecca Woodruff (husband: Jack) of Lafayette; two brothers, Dennis W. Wright (wife: Linda) of Attica and Christopher J. Wright of Fishers; and three grandchildren.

Services were held Feb. 17 in Attica. Burial followed at Locust Grove Cemetery near Ambia.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Delphi Community High School Athletic Fund.
