Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gangwer of 401E 700S, Cutler, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house on March 1. The event will be from 2:30 to 5 p.m. at the Bennett Room in Rossville.

Gangwer and the former Irma Hollingsworth were married March 1, 1959, at the Moran Methodist Church.

He has been a grain and hog farmer for more than 50 years. He also retired from Globe Valve, Delphi, after 31 years. She is a homemaker and previously worked at Carroll Schools for 25 years.

They have three children, Diane Wertz (husband: Ron) of Camden, Carla Gangwer of rural Cutler, and Ross Gangwer (wife: Valarie) of rural Lebanon. The couple has five grandchildren.

The Gangwers request that gifts be omitted, but cards are welcome.
