Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Myer of 1374E County Road 50S, Flora, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary at an open house on Feb. 15. The event will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the First Brethren Church in Flora.

Myer and the former Donnabelle Beckner were married Feb. 12, 1939, in the bride's home near Flora.

He is a retired farmer. She worked with the Carroll Consolidated School Corporation lunch program for 31 years.

They have four sons, Ronald Myer of Kokomo, Jim Myer of Kalamazoo, Mich., John Myer of Los Gatos, Calif., and David Myer of Flora. They also have 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
