Carroll choir and piano students achieved high ratings at the district contest at Harrison High School on Feb. 7.

The performers received 14 gold ratings and six silver ratings.

Going on to the state contest at Perry Meridian High School on Feb. 28 with a Group I/gold rating are vocal soloists Tiffany Jones, Hope Hayden and Harley Davis. Also advancing with a Group I/gold rating is the girls large ensemble of Kaitlin Kennedy, Shelby Spray, Amber Hughes, Hope Hayden, Tiffany Jones, Emma Packard, Harley Davis and Crystal Keck.
