Jocelyn and George Britton of Crossville, Tenn., and John and Wanda Ayres of Kokomo announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Ayres, of Fishers, to Christopher Longest, also of Fishers. He is the son of Karen and Mike Sheeley of Terre Haute and Mike and Trudy Longest of Terre Haute.

The bride-elect, formerly of Flora, is a 1998 graduate of Carroll High School. She graduated from Ball State University in 2002 and is employed by Buckingham Co. as a residence services manager.

Her fiancé is a 1996 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School. He graduated from Indiana University in 2000 with a degree in criminal justice. He is employed by JWF Specialty Co. as a senior claims specialist.

They are planning a March 21 wedding.
