Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Girton of 2985N. 1275W., Delphi, will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Feb. 14. A special celebration is planned this month.

Girton and the former Janice Brewer were married Feb. 14, 1959, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Delphi by the Rev. Toby A. Rendleman. He is a retired vice president of Lafayette Business Machines and she is the retired owner-operator of Riverview Beauty Shop, They have two children, Alan Girton (wife: Michelle) of Monticello, and Kathy Taylor (husband: Mike) of Delphi, and four grandchildren.
