Carroll County EH clubs offer scholarships
Carroll County Extension Homemaker Clubs are offering four $200 scholarships to a daughter/son or granddaughter/ grandson of an active Carroll County Extension Homemaker.
Applicants must reside in Carroll County and attend either Carroll, Delphi, Rossville or Twin Lakes high schools. Those applying who attend home or private schools will also be considered. Scholarships may be used for any career at a college, university, beauty school or trade school. Applications are due by April 15.
Applicants for the Iris Mc- Cain Memorial Scholarship can be a single, married or divorced male or female. Those applying must be 21 years of age or older and a Carroll County resident of one year. Submit a completed application by April 15.
The Ruth B. Sayre Scholarship is sponsored by the Country Woman's Council and was established to foster the educational development of women. Applicants must be a legal resident of the U.S., provide proof of financial need and the ability to complete the pursued education. Application deadline is Feb. 15.
Submit completed applications for any of the above listed scholarships to the Carroll County Extension Office, P.O. Box 317, Delphi, IN 46923.
The Indiana Extension Homemakers Association is offering eight $500 Career Advancement Scholarships to Indiana homemakers 25 years of age or older.
The scholarships include the Eleanor Arnold Award given to an IEHA member, the Ann Hancook Award given to an individual studying in the medical profession and the remaining six are random-study scholarships.
A completed application must be postmarked by March 15 and submitted to Shirley Nix, IEHA Past President, 1300 Zartman Rd., Kokomo, IN 46902.
