EXTENDED FAMILY is meeting is a new location at Woodbridge Health Campus, across from Fisher Funeral Home in Logansport. Those attending should enter on the west side, the assisted living door.

Mary Cutler will give a presentation on wildflowers entitled "A Walk Through the Wild Flower Year" at the Feb. 9 meeting of the MASTER GARDENERS OF CARROLL COUNTY. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the 4-H Community Building, Flora, and is open to the public. There is no cost to attend. Refreshments will be served. DANCING UNDER THE STARS, sponsored by the Carroll County YMCA, will be held Sunday evening from 5 to 8 at the Carroll County Courthouse in Delphi. The ballroom dance will feature the big band sounds of "Gentlemen of Note" from Lafayette. Purdue University Night Train Swing Dance Club will give free dance lessons and light refreshments will be served. The countywide event is for all ages. Tickets are available at the YMCA and Payne's Pharmacy in Flora and First Financial Bank in Delphi.

EXPERIENCE WORKS is offering job search assistance to interested senior citizens Feb. 11 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Delphi Senior Center, 700 N. Washington St., Delphi. Participants can earn $6.55 per hour for 18 hours a week employment with participating local nonprofit and city agencies. Carroll County Senior and Family Services will offer FREE TAX PREPARATION to low and middle-income individuals and senior citizens age 55 or older every Tuesday from now until April 14. Forms are electronically filed by an AARP representative. For an appointment call (765) 564-2772.

The AMERICAN RED CROSS BLOODMOBILE will hold a blood drive in Burlington on Tuesday at the Community Park Building from 1 to 6:30 p.m. The Red Cross needs all who can to donate because the winter weather has created a severe shortage of all types of blood in their supply bank. The Fort Wayne office of the American Red Cross supplies blood to hospitals in northern Indiana and Ohio. Walk-ins are welcomed.
