Mr. and Mrs. Mark Porter

of Lafayette, formerly of Flora, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary.

Porter, a retired farmer from Madison Township, and the former Charlene Sieber, a homemaker, were married Feb. 2, 1939, at the Radnor Methodist Church.

They have five children, Tom Porter (wife: Pat) of Lafayette, Marta Gerard (husband: John) of Plymouth, Joe Porter (wife: Karen) of Indianapolis, Marilyn Scott (husband: Jim) of Carmel, and David Porter (wife: Pam) and he is deceased; 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
