Fern Miller Wagoner, 90, of Camden, died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, at her residence. She had battled colon cancer since March 2008.

Born Feb. 18, 1918, on her parents' farm near Camden, she was the daughter of the late Perry and Lizzie Brumbaugh Miller. Her marriage was on June 1, 1938, at her parents' home near Camden, to Raymond K. Wagoner, who survives.

Mrs. Wagoner attended school in Camden.

A homemaker, she was a member of the Deer Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church in Camden.

Also surviving are two daughters, Lois Long (husband: Dale) of Rossville and Shirley Fisher (husband: Keith) of Camden; a son, Dr. Gordon Wagoner (wife: Shirley) of Flora; a sister, Opal Wagoner (husband: Floyd) of Camden; nine grandchildren; and 28 greatgrandchildren.

Preceding her in death were an infant granddaughter, Janice Long, and one brother, John.

Services were held Jan. 11 at the Deer Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church, officiated by home brethren. Burial followed at Musselman Cemetery in Camden.
